There are three different words translated as testimony in the New Testament.  We will look at least two of them.

G3141 - αρτυρία  - marturia  - mar-too-ree'-ah

From G3144; evidence given (judicially or generally):—record, report,
testimony, witness.   (As in Revelation 19:10 – testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, Re 1:2 of the testimony of Jesus [as in the book of revelation], Re 12:17 have the testimony of Jesus)

G3142 - μαρτύριον  - marturion  - mar-too'-ree-on

Neuter of a presumed derivative of G3144; something evidential, that is,
(generally) evidence given or (specifically) the Decalogue (in the sacred
Tabernacle):—to be testified, testimony, witness.

Revelation 11:19 - And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Re 15:5 - And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Exodus 30:5,6 - And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. 6And thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

Ex 25:16 - And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.  Verse 22 - And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31:24-27  And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, 25That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. 27For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?

What was put inside the ark of the covenant? – Decalogue

What was put in the side of the ark of the covenant?  Law of Moses

What is against us?  The law of Moses put in the side.

Colossians 2:13 – 23  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. 20Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21(Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Ephesians 2: 15- 22  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

What was against us?   Commandments and doctrines of men.

What was nailed to the cross?  It was what was against us.

Ceremonial law just died as it was fulfilled by Christ.

What wall was broken down?  Between Jew and Gentile–only Spiritual Israel – Romans 9:6 - Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. 9For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

G1778 - hνταλμα  - entalma  - en'-tal-mah

From G1781; an injunction, that is, religious precept:—commandment.

(The command is emphasized)

G1785 - dντολή  - entoleτ  - en-tol-ay'

From G1781; injunction, that is, an authoritative prescription:
commandment, precept.  (The one commanding is emphasized)

Revelation 12:17 – her seed which keep the commandments of God

Re 14: 12 – are they that keep the commandment of God

Re 22:14 -  Blessed are they that do his commandments
